I had such a beautiful day at Kukio with the Kona Plein Air group who I paint with frequently. We get to visit new inspiring locations weekly and this is one of my favorites. I get to see things that I would never have access to without the plein air group. The other painters have such positive energy and are all a joy to be with. In plein air painting the goal is to complete the painting in one session. It allows a certain freedom to finish it in one session to avoid overworking it. 11x14 painted in watercolor. Kukio Arch at Kukio Beach in Kailua Kona
